Audio Pro Addon C10 Wireless Speaker Review
Since its inception in 1978, Audio Pro has worked to produce goods with excellent sound at reasonable prices. Today, with the same goal as when they first started, you can find their products in 45 different countries around the world. We’ll be delving deeper into one of their best-selling speakers, the Audio Pro Addon C10, today.
Karl-Erik Stahl, an engineer and one of the creators of Audio Pro, revolutionized the industry with the development of ACE-Bass. A patented invention called ACE-Bass enables tiny subwoofers to produce deep bass frequencies. Because of this, Audio Pro products are powerful. They have a long history in the speaker industry and have established themselves as a multi-award-winning brand. They are unlike most manufacturers in that all of their speakers are wireless and powerful.
2017 saw the introduction of AudioPro’s Addon line of multi-room speakers. There were four speakers in this range (C3, C5, C5A, C10). The largest model in this lineup is the Addon C10, dubbed “the heavyweight champion of multiroom HiFi performance” by AudioProthemselves. The C10 was designed with only one goal in mind: to bring you pure joy and entertainment.

Design
Swedish-based Audio Pro’s product designs really highlight the traditional Scandinavian aesthetic. The first thing you’ll notice about the C10 when you take it out of the box is how heavy it is. The C10 is sturdy and constructed like a tank, weighing about 8.71 pounds. From the front, the C10 resembles every other Addon model in this lineup almost exactly. The front of the speaker has just a 5.25″ woofer and two 34″ tweeters positioned on either side. The design is contemporary and minimal. A sturdy enclosure, which comes in the monochromatic colors of black, grey, or white, houses the speakers.
Looking at the speaker’s top, the straightforward, vintage-inspired design is still present. A control panel is located directly beneath the leather handle, which is centered on the top. The design of the control panel is symmetrical and clean, and it has a brushed metal finish. Your control panel will match the handle’s finish depending on the color option you select, which most people will appreciate for Audio Pro’s attention to detail.
Sound
The larger Addon C10 model offers a dedicated digital amplifier for each drive unit and has twice the power of the Addon C5 model. This speaker has a powerful punch thanks to its 80 watts of power! The vocal separation is excellent, and the low-end (bass) is tight and punchy. The ACE-Bass technology from Audio Pro makes sure that this little box produces some big sound! You can expect more than just room-filling sound from this little speaker. You can fill your entire house with high-quality sound by connecting multiple speakers for a multi-room connection!
The C10 not only excels in a wide range of genres, but it also faithfully captures almost any sound you can think of. Compared to most TVs, podcasts and radio stations sound crystal clear and in-depth.
Features
I adore the Addon C10 because it works with almost every wireless streaming format you can imagine, including Bluetooth, Apple Airplay, and Spotify. If that isn’t enough, it also has an ethernet port on the back for when you prefer a wired connection. The C10 additionally supports WMA, AAC, FLAC, MP3, WMA, and Apple Lossless audio formats.
Controls
The main control panel for the speaker is located there, as was already mentioned. Simple and simple to use. Input selection (WiFi, Bluetooth, or Aux), play/pause, power on/off, and a Bluetooth Sync button are all located here. A sizable, circular volume control button is located in the middle of the control panel. Four unique pre-set buttons are located to the right of this. Maybe you have a favorite radio station or playlist. These can be used to give your preferred pre-set a button and provide quick access to your favorites. Last but not least, the top also has an accessible AUX port.

Inputs and Outputs
You’ll find your input and output connection ports on the back of the C10. You’ll use the “WiFi connect” button, which is located along the back from left to right, to set up your wifi connection for the first time. Moving on, there is a “Wifi Play/ Input Play” switch that lets you activate or deactivate the WiFi connection based on the desired input mode. The RCA line-in is the next thing you will notice, which means you are not required to use the 3.5mm Aux port on top. There is a Subwoofer input on the C10.
If you’d like to match your products, Audio Pro has its own line of subwoofers, but the C10 already has so much bass that I’m not sure this would even be necessary. On the back of the C10, there is also a USB port for charging your phone or media device, as well as an ethernet port if you prefer to use that over a WiFi connection. The standard power input is located in the bottom right corner.

App Control
A simple app can be used to control the Addon C10. You can stream your preferred music from this location via services like Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Tunein, Qobuz, iHeart Radio, and even Napster. Additionally, the app allows you to set all of your previously mentioned preset buttons.
All of the Addon speaker models can be linked together to form a multi-room system or a stereo pair. You can control multiple speakers simultaneously from the app by connecting them all together. This implies that you can use your smartphone to adjust the volume, treble, and bass of each individual speaker. Additionally, you can give each speaker a name, set a sleep timer, or check the WiFi signal.
While the Audio Pro C10 speaker provides excellent sound quality, the app can see some improvement. We occasionally found it difficult to use and prone to glitches. We discovered we weren’t the only ones having issues when we read other online reviews. That said, an app can be updated and improved at any time, unlike a physical product. We’ll definitely give the brand this feedback.
Pros
- Excellent sound quality
- Simple, clean design

Audio Pro Addon C10 vs Sonos Play 5
Many people want to know how the Addon C10 contrasts with the Sonos Play 5. If you want to read more about Play:5, you can find a detailed review of it here.
Simply put, the Addon C10 wins in terms of actual sound quality while the Sonos Play 5 dominates in terms of its mobile app and room-filling sound. Being less expensive than the Play:5, it offers excellent value.
Conclusion
Even though the Addon C10 is diminutive in size, its sound is enormous! The Audio Pro Addon C10 is the speaker for you if you’re looking for one with a rich, powerful performance. The C10 is one of the best-sounding Bluetooth speakers you can buy at its price point. It not only has a ton of power, but it also has a lot of helpful features. With the multi-room setup, you can simultaneously play different songs in various rooms of your house or play one song on all speakers throughout your home. There’s a reason the Addon line is so well-regarded, and we’ll undoubtedly keep an eye out for new Audio Pro offerings.
